It is a mark adopted by the Authority and indicates that the enterprise has an effective management system that ensures the production of a commodity conforming to the regulation, the conduct of grants, its own standard specifications and/or its technical regulations.
Is my product obliged to obtain the Saudi quality mark?
Products obliged to obtain the Saudi Quality Mark are:
- pre-mixed concrete (processing).
- Cement.
- Ceramic and porcelain tiles.
- Rebar Bars.
- Iron Flats.
- Gas appliances and accessories.
- Interior and exterior aluminum panels for building (cladding).
- Electrical connections.
- Electrical plugs and switches.
- Biodegradable Plastic products.
What are the steps for applying to obtain the mark?
Through the electronic Maneh service provided by the SASO, establishments can easily obtain a license to use the Saudi quality mark on their products.
The stages of obtaining a license through the donor system are as follows:
- Register in the system.
- Fill in product information.
- Provide data and attach files.
- Pay the application study fees.
- Application study by the organization.
- Pay the acceptance fees.
- Certificate issuance.
